Suspects plead guilty in Andrews University armed robberies

BERRIEN SPRINGS Three two men and one teen have admitted to the rash of armed robberies on the campus of Andrews University.

The robberies happened late on the night of March 29th, in three different locations on campus.

Two of the victims were students, and two victims also suffered injuries to the face.

That night, campus security locked down the campus for about an hour, as they searched for the suspects.

Roy Moore Junior, 17.. Byron Talbert, 19, and Thomas Rogers, 18, were arrested later and charged with armed robbery.

According to our reporting partners at the Herald-Palladium, the three have since pleaded guilty, and will be sentenced April 28th and May 5th.
