Suspect caught with the help of farmer and tractor

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY A police officer ditched his cruiser to chase down a suspect in a much slower, much larger vehicle.

It started like any other traffic stop. Indiana State Police Lieutenant Chad Larsh attempted to pull over a man for erratic driving. That was Jacob Miller, 41, from Plymouth.

Miller took off. A short time later, a farmer, who was out plowing, spotted Miller running through his field. The farmer picked up the officer and drove him to the suspect. Miller thought the farmer was there to help, but instead, it was Lt. Larsh, ready with a taser.

Miller admitted that he got scared when he saw the police car because he was on probation and had a suspended driver’s license. Miller was arrested for resisting arrest and driving while suspended.
