Some Michigan students are able to get behind the wheel with a little help from some local organizations.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berrien and Cass counties were recognized on Monday.

It was all part of the T. Wall Foundation and All Star Driver's Ed that helps students get driver's education free.

The class usually costs $350.

Parents, of the five students awarded, say the program is a big help to make sure their students stay safe on the roads.
This was the first stop for the program.

More students will be awarded across the state this week.
