WARSAW Some Warsaw students are being asked to walk to a different bus stop because of snow piled along the regular route. Children who live in the Forest Park mobile home park must now walk to a parking lot behind a nearby J.C. Penney's.

The school moved the stop after a child slipped on a snow bank last week and fell as the bus was pulling away. The student wasn't injured, but officials say it could have been much worse if the child had fallen in the path of the bus.

District officials tell Stacey Page Online, the new stop is still within a one mile walking distance for all Forest Park students.
