Right now meetings are being held to develop a strategic plan for the South Bend School District.
It's based on the district's mission, vision, core principles and goals.
Focus groups for parents, teachers, principals are being held and the feedback is being gathered to be considered in the ultimate plan.
“The process is very intentional, it’s very rigorous,” says Superintendent Carole Schmidt. “We want it to be open and the ultimate goal is put a dashboard out and see how we are doing.”
