Starke County Commissioners have finalized a location for a new jail.
That's according to our reporting partner WKVI.
They decided to go ahead with the site on Highway 8 near 550 East, across from Sabre Manufacturing. One commissioner voted against the motion. He thinks the building is bigger than what is needed.
Now the County Council must approve the location.
