Stabbing suspect named, arraigned on assault charges

Cass County, Mich. We now know the name of a man arrested for a stabbing last weekend in Cass County.

Thirty-two-year-old Charles Ray Eubank Jr. of Cassopolis was arraigned on charges of assault with intent to murder and assault with a deadly weapon.

The Cass County Sheriff's Department responded to the 60000 block of Main Street in Vandalia shortly after midnight on Sunday.

Investigators said the victim, 46-year-old Mark Perkins of Dowagiac, got in an argument with Eubank and he pulled out a knife and stabbed Perkins two times.

Perkins was transported to Borgess Lee Memorial for treatment and was released.

Eubanks remains in the Cass County Jail on $200,000 bond.
