St. Joseph to ban all short term rentals

St. Joseph, Mich. Thousands of people descend on the beach town of St. Joseph every summer, and now those who want to generate money from renting, may not be able to.

Monday night, the City Commission voted to unanimously to ban all short-term rentals in some residential zones. That's according to our reporting partners at WSJM Radio.

That means rentals that are less than 30 days. The vote took place at a public meeting Monday night, and was followed by close to an hour of comment and debate.
