St. Joseph County teen sentenced for murder

St. Joseph Co., Ind. A St. Joseph County teen has been sentenced to a total of 60 years in prison for his involvement in the 2012 shooting death of Mack Caldwell.

Rayterrion Wheeler, 17, was sentenced Wednesday.

It happened at a home in the 1000 block of east Bowan, just off Miami Street in November 2012.

The homeowner says it stemmed from a robbery gone bad.

Wheeler was sentenced to 60 years in prison, 50 years executed and 10 years suspended, followed by 10 years probation for Murder.

Herbert Brown III, 19, pled guilty to assisting a criminal for his role in the incident. He's scheduled to be sentenced October 2nd.
