St. Joseph County 4-H Fair starts Friday

St. Joseph County, Ind. The St. Joseph County 4-H Fair officially starts Friday. It is an event folks have been working on since the fair ended last year. The fair starts Friday and runs until July 5.

Tickets cost $8 to get in, for seniors it’s $5 and it’s free for kids under the age of 8. If rides are your thing you may want to get a wristband. Wristbands cost $23 and you can ride as many rides as you want from 2 p.m. until 11 p.m.

Now, if you are looking for a few discounts, look around the community. Several restaurants and other areas like Papa Johns are giving away coupons for the fair. You can also get into the fair for free if you make it in before 9 a.m.

Opening day is Friday so things officially kick off with a parade and opening ceremony at 5:30p.m. at the Grandstand. They will also have the Sheriff’s Posse Rodeo in the Event Arena at 7 p.m.

If you can’t make it for opening day, the week is full of things to do like a petting zoo, all the rides, food; you can see Bengal Tigers, watch a magic show, antique tractor parade and much more.
