INDIANA Don't be alarmed if you hear tornado sirens this evening.

Counties across the state of Indiana are testing their sirens today as we continue to observe Severe Weather Awareness Week.

Most counties plan to run two tests today: one earlier this morning between 10:15 and 10:45, and then again this evening.

St. Joseph County tested their systems this morning. Unlike in past years, they do not plan to run a second test.

Many schools and hospitals also have drills scheduled.

If you have a weather radio programmed to your county, you'll hear an alert go off there as well.

If you can't hear the siren from outside your home, you can call your county emergency management office to report it.
