BENTON HARBOR, Ind.--- The Senior PGA Championship has kicked off in Benton Harbor.

Fans from all over flocked to Harbor Shores for the beginning of the tournament, and to see greats like Jay Haas and Tom Watson take the course.

But if you're not into golf there are still plenty of activities to take part in.

Gail Simmons, a judge on Bravo's show "Top Chef", was in the "KitchenAid Fairway Club" today cooking up some easy spring menu items like fish tacos and ginger penne cotta.

Simmons says getting out and mingling with food lovers is one of the best parts of her job.

“I get out and cook with an audience at least 6 or 7 times a year if not more and it's always some of the highlights of what I get to do, it's a great opportunity to meet people, talk with food enthusiasts and check out amazing locations all over the country,” said Simmons.

"Iron Chef" Cat Cora from the Food Network will be in the kitchen tomorrow making classic Greek roasted chicken.
