Students at Southwestern Michigan College, brace yourselves to shell out more money.
Tuition will increase this fall.
That's according to our reporting partners at the Herald Palladium.
The board of trustees approved the 5% increase Monday.
Per contact hour, that's $5.25 more for students in-district, $6.25 more for students out of district, and a $7.25 increase for students out of state.
There will also be a $1 increase in registration fees.
College president David Matthews says the increases are to cope with rising costs.
