SOUTH BEND, Ind -- The South Bend woman accused of shooting and killing the father of her girlfriend's child, and wounding two other men, was back in court Wednesday.
Joilise Crossley had a public defender appointed for her.
The 19-year-old is charged with manslaughter and two counts of criminal recklessness stemming from the march shooting.
Crossley is accused of shooting and killing Tyrone Kelly in the 1800 block of N. Johnson Street.
Court documents say Kelly was upset Crossley was spending time with his kid.
He apparently went to meet Crossley to end their feud and an argument started.
The documents say he took a swing at her and missed, ten she took out a semi-automatic handgun and started shooting.
Crossley is next due in court on May 1.
