SOUTH BEND, Ind. The winter that won't end continues as temperatures are now hitting record lows.
With the return of the bitterly cold temperatures, the city of South Bend is warning residents about frozen pipes.
They suggest that you leave a little water running in the house at one or two spots, about the diameter of a toothpick.
The biggest threat is to houses that have an air space underneath.
The cold wind blowing on the pipes can freeze them quickly.
