South Bend teen charged with attempted rape

South Bend, Ind. A South Bend teen is charged with the attempted rape of a Department of Child Services caseworker.

Prosecutors say 19-year-old Isaac Miller trapped the caseworker in his apartment in the 2400 block of West Flint Court, that's in the Indian Spring’s Apartment Complex. He held her at knifepoint after she became uncomfortable and tried to leave.

Court documents say Miller then forced her into the bathroom where he strangled and attempted to rape her. The caseworker was able to free herself, run out of the house and get help.

Miller is in the St. Joseph County Jail on $100,000 bond.
