SOUTH BEND, Ind. Elementary school students put on a musical treat for Memorial hospital Wednesday morning.
Students from Madison Primary Center in South Bend had been working on the play for about two months. They performed it at the hospital's main entrance for patients, staff and visitors.
Teachers say the children's "Holiday Moosical" featured the inspiring story of a moose named Marty.
“I think this is a season of hope, and that they can fly, if someone believes in them, they can fly and that's what the theme was,” said music teacher Kathy Sellers. “Marty wanted to fly and when someone believed him he could fly.”
The musical cast showcased 23 student actors and 17 children from Madison Primary's choir.
