SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The local production of asphalt used for permanent road repairs resumes next week.

Reith-Riley is set to fire up its hot patch asphalt plan southwest of South Bend on Wednesday of next week.

The city of Mishawaka plans on spreading the material where it will do the most good-- first.

The cold patch asphalt product now being used by street crews is only good for temporary repairs.
