Several South Bend parks have closed due to damage from Monday’s storms.

Here’s a list of closings, and additional information regarding storm damage:

-Potawatomi Park is closed, including the zoo and pool.

-The Band Shell Concert Series on Sunday has been cancelled and pavilion rentals are cancelled through Sunday, July 6.

-Howard Park and its Recreation Center closed until Monday, July 6. Keller Park and Muessel Grove Park and their summer lunch programs also closed.

-Rafting on the East Race Waterway closed Saturday, July 5 and Sunday, July 6. Kayakers with their own equipment can use the course between 12-5 p.m. Saturday and 12:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday. The East Race is open weekends only.

- The Parks and Recreation Department also advises residents not to use the Riverside Trails, noting that conditions on the Riverside Drive Trail are especially hazardous.
