It looks like it's a done deal, the sale of South Bend's ethanol plant closed on March 18.
The revelation came in court documents filed Wednesday. That means the plant now belongs to a joint venture between two liquidation firms.
A Texas based company called Natural Chem claims that an auction of the plant was tainted by collusion. Natural Chem is scheduled to make that argument again Thursday morning at a hearing in U.S. District Court in South Bend.
