South Bend businessman helps uncover rare dinosaur

South Bend, Ind. A South Bend businessman's hobby has led to the discovery of a rare dinosaur. Mark Tarner, president of the South Bend Chocolate Company, digs up dinosaurs.

Earlier this summer, Bob Curry, a Montana native and retired teacher and coach, found what is believed to be an edmontosaurus, a rare duckbill dinosaur with skin impressions. Tarner got the right to excavate the animal with his brother-in-law, Steve Bodi.

The men are now working on meeting with a paleontologist from the Smithsonian in the next couple of weeks.
