South Bend airport offers rewards program for flyers

It seems like everyone has a rewards program from drugstores, grocery stores and even department stores.

Now the South Bend Airport does too.

The new traveler rewards program called “Thanks Again” allows passengers to automatically earn more frequent flyer miles when they park, shop and dine.

The program is free, quick, and simple.

It allows people to pick out their favorite airline rewards program and register to earn points for each dollar spent while at the airport.

“These are miles on top of miles,” says Kristi Bennett. “So say you have Delta Sky Miles American Express. The miles you save here at the airport are on top of the miles you earn through your American Express Card and on top of Delta Airlines.”

Members have the opportunity to get points at other airports besides South Bend.

They can earn up to 25-thousand bonus miles every ninety days based on registered card purchases at 160 airports and 20 thousand businesses across the county and in Canada.
