SOUTH BEND, Ind. - In a preview to the State of the City Address, South Bend's Mayor Pete Buttigieg talked to the council Monday night.
The address focused primarily on the city's financial status.
South Bend's revenue and expenditures made for a balanced general fund.
Most of the city's income and spending has come from its enterprise funds.
Charges for services, followed by property taxes, made up most of that revenue.
What the mayor seemed most proud of was South Bend's AA credit rating and high ranking in the state financially.
Wednesday night, the mayor will give his formal state of the city address at the Century Center at 6:30.
