SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Police are warning South Bend residents about a man who's been peeping in windows and flashing residents.

It's been happening on the city's southeast side.

The man has been seen at least 10 times since last summer.

NewsCenter 16 talked with a victim who was approached twice as the man exposed himself to her.

She says the first time, he rang her doorbell. Then on Monday, he snuck up behind her in her backyard.

“The exposure's one thing, but the fact that he stalked out enough to hide and sneak up on me without a sound,” Nanne Barkdull said. “I don't know where he was hiding, by a tree a porch somewhere. One minute he wasn't there, the next minute he was. So he was in wait for me and that's what gets me angry.”

The suspect's been described as a black man in his late teens to early twenties.

He's between five-foot-nine and six feet tall with a thin build.

Anyone who sees anything suspicious should call police or Michiana Crime Stoppers.
