This weekend South Bend firefighters begin their Fill-the-Boot fundraiser to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
They'll be at the intersections of South Main and West Sample, as well as South Michigan and East Sample, November 16, 17 and 20. They're filling boots with donations from passing drivers.
The Fire Department raised $5,000 dollars in last year's drive and hope to increase that to $7,000 in 2012.
All of the money stays in St. Joseph County.
