South Bend's Ethanol Plant is down and the water table in the area is up. The result has been flooding for some residents who live along Calvert Street near the plant.
When the Ethanol Plant shut down, it stopped pumping up to two million gallons of water a day out of the ground.
The South Bend City Engineer's Office will hold a meeting for affected residents on December 18 at the Rum Village Nature Center.
