ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - St. Joseph County police are teaming up with other local departments for sobriety checkpoints this weekend.
They are working to make a safer St. Joe County by increasing the use of seat belts, and to combat aggressive and impaired driving.
This weekend they will be teaming up with nine local police departments to have sobriety checkpoints throughout the county.
They will begin Friday and continue Saturday and Monday nights.
The checkpoints will be set up at various places around the county from 10 p.m. till 2 a.m. all three nights.
