One person was taken to the hospital after a pickup truck crashed into a semi. It all happened around 7:45 a.m.

The pickup was heading north on S.R. 19 when the driver tapped the breaks, that’s when the truck started to spin and the side of the pickup went into the semi.

It took officials about 30 minutes to get the driver free from the pickup.

The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

All four lanes on S.R 19 are currently shut down.

It was just before that crash that police were responding to a crash in the eastbound lanes on U.S 20. Luckily, there were no injuries and after about an hour traffic was moving again.
