Silver Hawks win game one of Midwest League Semifinals

Socrates Brito drove in two runs in the top of the 9th to break a 5-5 tie as the Silver Hawks beat the Tincaps 7-5 in Fort Wayne Saturday night to capture game one of the Midwest League Semifinals.

The Hawks can wrap up the best of three series and head to the Midwest League Championship Series with a win Sunday at 5pm at Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium.

Fidel Pena and Brandon Drury homered for South Bend. Drury's homer sparked a 4-run inning that put South Bend up 5-1 early. Fort Wayne rallied to tie the game before the Hawks' 9th inning win.
