Game attendance for the South Bend Silver Hawks is on the rise, and the team is expecting a crowded stadium all year long.
The team has already seen a 105 percent increase in season ticket sales, and they expect to triple last year's seat-base before opening day. This follows a 68 percent increase in attendance during the 2012 season and seven sell-out games.
In order to help the Silver Hawks sell out even more games this year, they're hosting a special ticket sale Wednesday. Anyone who buys a ticket to any game will be entered to win an outdoor suite to enjoy the home opener versus the Bowling Green "Hot Rods" on April 4th.
Tickets go on sale at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning. They can be purchased online or by calling 574-235-9988.
"This is always one of the most exciting days of the off season because it signals Opening Day is just around the corner," stated Joe Hart, Team President.
