SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The hopes are high at Four Winds field, where the South Bend Silver Hawks are looking to break the team's all-time attendance record.
Last year, about 245,000 fans came to the Cove.
That is about 13,000 shy of the team's single season record.
This year, season ticket sales are up 35 percent, with the home opener just 15 days away.
The team's owner feels that breaking the record, depends on improving the fan experience.
This year, the stadium has a new sound system, and closed circuit TV's have been installed by the concession stands, so fans can keep track of the score, while scoring some snack.
