Shoppers see thinner crowds on Black Friday

The sales were still on but the crowds weren't as big.

This year's Black Friday is being dubbed as "Gray Friday."

Some shoppers are calling it a two day shopping marathon while others don't like stores being open on Thanksgiving.

Friday crowds weren't as heavy at Wal-Mart, Target and Best Buy.

However the big box retailers were still offering big sales.
Shopper Rachel Cole says, “This isn't bad. We came to Moe's and she said she wanted this and it’s not bad, really not (like) Black Friday, Christmas shopping.”

So far research shows there were a number of shoppers that bought items Thursday night when Black Friday deals were posted online. Plus online shopping is up by 20 percent compared to last year.
