PLYMOUTH, Ind.--- A man has been sentenced in a case of shoplifting that unveiled a meth operation.

Andrew Franz, 28, from Rochester will spend a decade in prison for his crimes.

He admitted that he and a 19-year-old woman stole items from a Plymouth Wal-Mart, and planned to use them to make meth.

Video cameras captured the pair picking up plastic tubes, razor blades, and a can of Coleman camping fuel.

They paid for the camping fuel, but hid everything else in the woman's purse.

They got caught, and later police found they had also purchased a lot of pseudo-ephedrine.
