The shakeup at Cequent Products will not affect the company's operations in South Bend.
Since 2004, Cequent has had a Consumer Distribution Center on the west side, off William Richardson Drive.
That facility is not part of the growth and productivity initiatives announced last week that will result in the closure of Cequents Manufacturing Facility in Goshen where some 450 people are employed.
The Cequent shakeup also closed a warehouse in Huntington, Indiana. Cequent makes trailer hitches and other products.
