Driver in CR 50 crash operating on suspended license

A car crash on Wednesday left a 3-year-old child with minor head injuries, and a woman with life-threatening head injuries.

It happened in Goshen, just before 1:30 p.m. when a 1995 Ford explorer was heading west on CR 50 east of CR 39, struck a utility pole.

36-year-old Kevin C Clark, apparently lost control of his vehicle running it off the roadway. According to a police report, Clark was driving on a suspended license.

His passenger, 33-year-old Shannon Barton suffered life-threatening head injuries because of the crash.

A 3-year-old child also suffered a minor head injury. The child was in a car seat.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
