MIDDLEBURY A woman who was injured in a crash last week got to wake up at home Tuesday morning, after spending four days in a hospital bed.
29-year-old Linda Yoder and her 5-year-old daughter were both thrown from a horse-drawn wagon Friday, when they were hit by an SUV.
The Elkhart Truth reports that the child was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital in serious condition. Her patient records have apparently been sealed, so it's not clear whether or not she is still in the hospital.
At the time of the accident, Elkhart County police said she suffered life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened on County Road 22, near C.R. 31. That's about three miles southwest of Middlebury.
