Sentencing for a man charged in connection with a November 2011 shooting death has been postponed.
Bryant Hunt, 28, of South Bend pleaded guilty to the attempted robbery of Dietrich Perkins. As part of the plea deal, murder charges against Hunt were dropped in October.
He was supposed to be sentenced Wednesday, but will now be sentenced on February 25 of next year.
Perkins, a Hammond native, was driving his car at the time of the shooting. His body was later found next to a dumpster on Lathrop and Johnson Streets.
Freemond Jordan, 29, is charged with Perkins' murder, and Forest Lamar Jr., 19, Is charged with attempted murder.
