Sentencing in puppy starvation case

Kosciusko County A Kosciusko County woman has been sentenced for starving two puppies.

Laci Harper pleaded guilty to felony animal cruelty back in April.

As part of the deal, a judge gave harper a two year sentence, To be suspended and served on probation. She also must pay fines and restitution fees for the animals, And can't own a pet for 2 years.

Harper was charged after a neighbor took a video of two German Shepherd puppies, neglected and starving. One of the animals died just hours after the video was shot.

The other was taken in by the animal welfare league, and cared for by another local resident since.
