Sentencing scheduled for a former high school swim coach convicted of videotaping girls in a pool locker room did not occur as scheduled on Thursday. According to officials, the sentencing of Cameron Stouder, 30, has been rescheduled to take place one year from now.
Stouder was convicted of attempted voyeurism after he tried to videotape women changing into their bathing suits at the Twyckenham Hills pool in South Bend.
Police say he was working as a swim instructor at the time, and had placed his cell phone in the changing room. A female employee found Stouder’s phone which was set to record video, hidden in a pile of towels.
A week after the incident at the pool, Stouder resigned from his coaching position at Riley High School.
Officials say Stouder’s sentencing was moved until next year in order to give him time to meet requirements for a misdemeanor sentencing.
