Sentencing for convicted child molester delayed

The sentencing of a convicted child molester has been delayed in Elkhart County.

Timothy Hyser was found guilty of two counts of child molesting after a trial in July.

According to our reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth, yesterday in court, his sentencing was moved to September 18 by request of his attorney.

This is the second time Hyser was convicted on the same case-- but he appealed it the first time and had a new trial.
