U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly spoke with NewsCenter 16 Friday about the TSA furloughs.
He says the Federal Aviation Administration will still have to deal with budget cuts, but money from other areas will be taken to stop the furloughs, and decrease airport delays.
“You know for me, when I go through the airports and I see a mom and dad with their children trying to go somewhere, go see relatives, it is incumbent upon us, our job to try to make sure that moves as smooth as possible,” says U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly.
Along with emphasizing the bill’s importance to families, Donnelly also stressed the importance of minimizing the struggle for business travelers.
