The second member of the so called "selfie squad" was found guilty in Cass County.

Last week Deon Goodwin was convicted of a number of felonies for his part in an Elkhart based conspiracy to invade an Ontwa Township home.

Just this week, a second person in connection with the incident, Paris Banks, met the same fate.

After the trial Tuesday, Banks was convicted on charges of conspiracy to commit home invasion, attempted home invasion and providing a false name.

Banks, along with two others, was found walking across a nearby cornfield after trying to break into a home on Ashton Road in the Edwardsburg area.

Banks denied any connection to the home invasion when questioned by police at the scene.

Sentencing for Banks is scheduled for Aug. 15.
