Michiana residents got to experience a different kind of party Saturday in Downtown South Bend.
The Century Center played host to a packed house of beer lovers Saturday afternoon during the city's second annual Brewfest.

From heavy to pale ales, there were more than 125 varieties of beer for folks to sample, many of which were locally brewed.

“We came out in the fall with our first one,” explains Jill Scicchitano the General Manager of the Century Center. “Our first one was in October, which was held outdoors on the island but, we decided to have it during the winter too and inside in the Great Hall. We are really excited about the turnout it is a great community event there is a lot of interest. We are so excited about all of the breweries that decided to be here with us Saturday, so it is very exciting.”
