With the holiday season in full swing, what better way to get yourself into the holiday mood than to go to Santa's House and Workshop at the College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend.
Kids have the chance to meet Santa himself, sit on his lap, and of course whisper what they wish for this Christmas. Santa’s workshop has photo ops with good old Saint Nick, cookie decorating, and a gingerbread village.
Not only is the Christmas village holiday fun for the whole family, but DTSB’s Executive Director Aaron Perri says it helps support the businesses that are open 365 days a year.
”When you're down here visiting Santa Claus, maybe you'll also stop in one of the great restaurants down here, maybe you'll visit some of the pop-up shops, do some of your Christmas shopping. It's great to do that down here,” Perri said.
Santa will be downtown this weekend and next, up until his busy night on Christmas Eve.
