If you live or even drove by Mishawaka Avenue and 36th Street Tuesday, you may have had to look twice at the guy walking down the street.
And no, you weren't making it up; Santa was delivering mail Tuesday morning.
He went door-to-door making sure that the last-minute holiday mail made it to each house safe and sound.
Santa has been doing this for about five years now. He says he carries the mail along with candy canes to give to the kiddos. He also says it is a great way to help out his postal friends because they work really hard this time of year.
Plus, it is great to see the kids come running out just to give him a hug.
For those who didn't catch him this year, do not worry, he plans on coming out to help out again next year.
