UPDATE: SJRMC-Plymouth, Bowen Center lockdown sparked by threat

PLYMOUTH, Ind. -- Both the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth and The Bowen Center were placed on lockdown Tuesday morning following a threat police say was made to The Bowen Center staff.

The threat stemmed from an incident that occurred in the early morning hours, the Plymouth Police Department said in a release.

The SJRMC-Plymouth and The Bowen Center were put on lockdown as a precaution.

The lockdown was lifted around 1:30 p.m. after Plymouth police made contact with the individual who made the threat.

No details have been released on exactly what kind of threat was made.
