SBPD releases surveillance photo of Dunkin' Donuts robber

SOUTH BEND South Bend Police have released a surveillance photo of one of the men who robbed a Dunkin' Donuts shop early Sunday morning.

The armed robbery happened at the shop in the 4300 block of South Michigan Street, around 4:00 a.m.

Two black men, wearing hooded sweatshirts, made their way into the shop. One man appeared to be armed with a handgun. He struck a 54-year-old bakery worker in the head with the gun, according to police.

The suspects demanded money from the bakery worker. The worker was able to flee the store.

Police arrived on the scene and discovered that money was missing.
The two suspects reportedly fled in the direction of a nearby auto parts store. Police believe the two suspects had a car waiting.

No arrests have been made in this case.
