It was your typical night at the Cove on Wednesday – except for a few noticeable additions. Rock group Tesla joined the regular festivities by singing “The Star Spangled Banner” at home plate before throwing out the pregame first pitch.

The band hosted a meet-and-greet with fans at the stadium, and they promoted their Thursday night show at Club Fever in downtown South Bend.

Along with the mini-concert, there was also a birthday celebration at Wednesday night’s game.

The Silver Hawks helped mark the 150-year anniversary of 1st Source Bank by selling game tickets for just $1.50.
