Monday morning tends to arrive too soon for many people, but not for Larry and Barbara Rentschler of Rochester, Ind.
Larry purchased a $77,777 top-prize winning scratch-off at a gas station in Logansport on his way home from work Friday evening. The couple had to wait until the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office in Indianapolis opened Monday morning to claim their prize.
Now that they’ve claimed their check, they plan to put the money away for retirement.
Larry says he always knew he would win someday.
