South Bend Governor Mike Pence is in Michiana Wednesday, attending the ribbon cutting and dedication of the new US 31 section, between Plymouth and South Bend.

Representative Jackie Walorski and the U.S. 31 Coalition will also be on hand.

The road officially opened last week.

Wednesday’s ceremony starts at 2:30 p.m. on State Road 4 at the new U.S. 31 interchange.

Limited parking is available on the shoulder of State Road 4, so those attending are encouraged to carpool.
